Type specimen: MLP 93-I-5-1, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is Cape Lamb (200 m), which is in a Maastrichtian offshore mudstone in the Snow Hill Island Formation of Antarctica.
Ecology: aquatic carnivore
Distribution: found only at Cape Lamb (200 m)
