Type specimen: Its type locality is Tejon from the McCray Wells (Locality 8 of Waring 1917), which is in an Eocene marine horizon in the Llajas Formation of California
Ecology: slow-moving semi-infaunal carnivore
Distribution: found only at Tejon from the McCray Wells (Locality 8 of Waring 1917)
