Type specimen: MOR 1062, a skeleton. Its type locality is Fort Peck Reservoir (MOR BS-104), which is in a Campanian terrestrial horizon in the Bearpaw Shale Formation of Montana.
Ecology: aquatic carnivore
Distribution: found only at Fort Peck Reservoir (MOR BS-104)
