Sister taxa: none
Type specimen: MPMA 04-0008/89, a partial skeleton (partial skull lacking both premaxillae and squa- mosals, most of the maxillae, and portions of several other bones). Its type locality is 4 km west of Monte Alto, which is in a Campanian/Maastrichtian terrestrial sandstone in the Adamantina Formation of Brazil.
Ecology: amphibious omnivore
Distribution: found only at 4 km west of Monte Alto
