Type specimen: CIT 10328, a dermal scale. Its type locality is Jergins Oil Company, Chaney Ranch No. 1 (3543-3864 feet), which is in an Eocene/Eocene marine shale in the Tumey Formation of California.

Ecology: nektonic carnivore

Distribution: found only at Jergins Oil Company, Chaney Ranch No. 1 (3543-3864 feet)
