Type specimen: IRSNB P 9688, an otolith. Its type locality is Sant’Alosio, erosional cliffs East of Sant’Alosio village, which is in a Tortonian marine horizon in Italy.

Distribution: found only at Sant’Alosio, erosional cliffs East of Sant’Alosio village
