Type specimen: USNM 299821, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is Tynsky Quarry, which is in a Wasatchian lacustrine - large limestone in the Green River Formation of Wyoming.
Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore
Distribution: found only at Tynsky Quarry
