Type specimen: CCNHM 108, a partial skull. Its type locality is Wando River + Highway 41 bridge, which is in a Rupelian coastal horizon in the Ashley Formation of South Carolina.

• Oligocene of United States (4: South Carolina collections)
Total: 4 collections each including a single occurrence
