Type specimens:
- Siamogale melilutra: ZT-10-03-064b, a partial skull (partial cranium with left P3–M1 and right P2–M1). Its type locality is Shuitangba, which is in a Baodean terrestrial claystone in the Zhaotong Formation of China.
- Lutra aonychoides:
Ecology: scansorial carnivore-omnivore
Distribution: found only at Shuitangba
