Type specimen: UMZC 2016.3, a partial skeleton (A single block containing scattered skull and postcranial remains). Its type locality is Burnmouth Ross end cliffs (340.5 m), which is in a Tournaisian floodplain siltstone in the Ballagan Formation of the United Kingdom.
