Type specimen: IVPP V20254, a skull. Its type locality is Huheboerhe-Nuhetingboerhe (AS-5), which is in an Eocene terrestrial horizon in the Arshanto Formation of China.
Ecology: ground dwelling browser
Distribution: found only at Huheboerhe-Nuhetingboerhe (AS-5)
