Type specimen: IVPP V3023, a partial skull. Its type locality is Zhangcun, 63022, Jiyuan (Chiyuan)-Chengliu Basin, which is in a Sharamurunian terrestrial mudstone/sandstone in the Niezhuang Formation of China.

Ecology: ground dwelling browser

Distribution: found only at Zhangcun, 63022, Jiyuan (Chiyuan)-Chengliu Basin
