Type specimen: PSUL 404 Langenhan collection, a partial skull (partial skull and pectoral elements). Its type locality is Cliff at Ilm River, Moosbach, which is in a Gzhelian terrestrial horizon in the Mohrenbach Formation of Germany.

Ecology: amphibious carnivore

Distribution: found only at Cliff at Ilm River, Moosbach
