Type specimen: UCMP 203686, a skull. Its type locality is Archer City Bonebed 1 (Putnam Fm.), which is in a Wolfcamp terrestrial horizon in the Archer City Formation of Texas.

Ecology: amphibious carnivore

Distribution: found only at Archer City Bonebed 1 (Putnam Fm.)
