Type specimen: IPGAS KK-19, a partial shell (left hypoplastron). Its type locality is Kizyl-Kak, which is in an Oligocene terrestrial horizon in the Betpakdala Formation of Kazakhstan.

Ecology: aquatic piscivore-carnivore

Distribution: found only at Myn-Sai
