Type specimen: GPIM-N 2013, a skull. Its type locality is Locality S1, Ulmet, which is in a Gzhelian lacustrine deltaic horizon in the Meisenheim Formation of Germany.
Ecology: amphibious carnivore
Distribution: found only at Locality S1, Ulmet
