Type specimen: UCMP 100100 (posterior two thirds of right dentary). Its type locality is Arapahovius Paleofaunule, which is in a Lysitean/Lostcabinian terrestrial horizon in the Wasatch Formation of Wyoming.

Distribution:
• Eocene of United States (3: Utah, Wyoming collections)
Total: 3 collections each including a single occurrence
