Type specimen: ZCDM V0050 (field catalog number KG-253), a partial skeleton (incomplete skull, lower jaw, hyoid bones, incomplete shell with articulated carapace and plastron, disarticulated and incomplete fore and hing limbs). Its type locality is Kugou turtle, which is in a Campanian fluvial conglomerate in the Hongtuya Formation of China.
Ecology: aquatic omnivore
Distribution: found only at Kugou turtle
