Type specimen: MNCN-1827, a set of vertebrae. Its type locality is Cementos Andinos quarry (28 m above base), which is in a Cenomanian offshore shale in the La Luna Formation of Venezuela.

Distribution: found only at Cementos Andinos quarry (28 m above base)
