Sister taxa: none
Type specimen: IVPP V12537, a partial skeleton (Partial skeleton with almost a complete skull). Its type locality is Daohugou (IVPP collection), which is in a Callovian lacustrine - large shale/tuff in the Tiaojishan Formation of China.
Ecology: volant piscivore
Distribution: found only at Daohugou (IVPP collection)
