Type specimen: UOMNH F-30334/UO 2473, a partial skull (skull with premolar row and associated canines). Its type locality is Hancock Quarry, which is in an Eocene terrestrial conglomerate/sandstone in the Clarno Formation of Oregon.

Ecology: scansorial herbivore

Distribution: found only at Hancock Quarry
