Type specimens:
- Cuvierichelys iberica: MGB(E) n° 4180. Its type locality is El Talladell, Tàrrega, which is in an Oligocene terrestrial limestone in the Calcaries de Tàrrega Formation of Spain.
- Chrysemys elegans: Its type locality is El Talladell, Tàrrega, which is in an Oligocene terrestrial limestone in the Calcaries de Tàrrega Formation of Spain.
Ecology: aquatic omnivore
Distribution: found only at El Talladell, Tàrrega
