Type specimen: MACN-Ch 1305, a maxilla (right maxillary fragment with P3-M2, alveoli of C-P2, and anterior portion of alveoli of M3; fragment of the septum separating the incisive and maxillary fenest). Its type locality is Southern Cliff of lower Chubut River Valley, near Gaiman, which is in a Colhuehuapian paralic mudstone in the Sarmiento Formation of Argentina.
Ecology: scansorial omnivore
Distribution: found only at Southern Cliff of lower Chubut River Valley, near Gaiman
