Type specimen: USNM 386140, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is Moomomi Dunes, Pleistocene, which is in a Pleistocene interdune horizon in Hawaii.
Ecology: volant carnivore-insectivore
Distribution: found only at Moomomi Dunes, Pleistocene
