Sister taxon: Antarctodolops dailyi

Type specimen: MLP 96-I-5-12, a mandible (right dentary with p3-m3). Its type locality is IAA 1/90, which is in a Ypresian estuary/bay horizon in the La Meseta Formation of Antarctica.

Ecology: scansorial omnivore

Distribution:

• Eocene of Antarctica (2 collections)
