Type specimen: LACM 122995, a limb element (nearly complete left humerus). Its type locality is Sharktooth Hill Bonebed, which is in a Langhian terrestrial siltstone in the Temblor Formation of California.

Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore

Distribution: found only at Sharktooth Hill Bonebed
