Type specimen: BMNH R12689, a partial skull (left dentary). Its type locality is Kirtlington 3p (Mammal Bed), which is in a Bathonian mire/swamp marl in the Forest Marble Formation of the United Kingdom.

Distribution: found only at Kirtlington 3p (Mammal Bed)
