Type specimen: MNHL 20-268373, a skull (nearly complete skull with incomplete lower jaw). Its type locality is Ouled Abdoun Basin Recette 4, Ypresian, which is in a Ypresian marine phosphorite in Morocco.

Ecology: aquatic omnivore

Distribution: found only at Ouled Abdoun Basin Recette 4, Ypresian
