Type specimen: piste A, a footprint. Its type locality is Le Roubreau tracksite, Largentière mine, which is in an Anisian/Ladinian terrestrial sandstone in the Grès Inférieurs du Roubreau Formation of France.

Distribution: found only at Le Roubreau tracksite, Largentière mine
