Type specimen: BMMS BK 2-2, a skeleton (Mostly complete skeleton). Its type locality is Nova Olinda quarries, which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large lime mudstone/mudstone in the Crato Formation of Brazil.

Ecology:

Distribution: found only at Nova Olinda quarries
