Type specimen: UMZC T836, a partial skeleton (Partial postcranial skeleton including five posterior cervical–anterior dorsal vertebrae, distal half of the right humerus, fragment of probable left humeral sh). Its type locality is B35 of Stockley, Ruanda, which is in a Wuchiapingian fluvial-lacustrine horizon in the Usili Formation of Tanzania.

Distribution: found only at B35 of Stockley, Ruanda
