Type specimen: MLP 69-IX-5-16, a limb element (left astragalus). Its type locality is Santa Cruz Formation, which is in a Santacrucian terrestrial horizon in the Santa Cruz Formation of Argentina.
Ecology: ground dwelling omnivore
Distribution: found only at Santa Cruz Formation
