Type specimen: IRSNB M. 2171, a partial skull. Its type locality is Beverentunnel, which is in a Zanclean marine sandstone in the Kattendijk Formation of Belgium.
Ecology: aquatic piscivore
Distribution: found only at Beverentunnel
