Type specimen: ROM 61466, a cephalon/head (cranidium). Its type locality is road cut on HW 68, Cloche Island, approximately 9 km south of Birch Island, which is in a Turinian carbonate mudstone/wackestone in the Cloche Island Formation of Canada.
Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal deposit feeder
Distribution: found only at road cut on HW 68, Cloche Island, approximately 9 km south of Birch Island
