Type specimen: UCMP 53976, a limb element (right coracoid). Its type locality is Mammal Quarry No. 1 (UCMP V-5003), which is in a Lancian terrestrial horizon in the Lance Formation of Wyoming.
Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore
Distribution: found only at Mammal Quarry No. 1 (UCMP V-5003)
