Sister taxon: Protocolliolus eocenicus
Type specimen: MGUH 26136, an otolith. Its type locality is Gemmas Allé [Lellinge Greensand], which is in a Selandian marine sandstone in the Lellinge Greensand Formation of Denmark.
Ecology: nektonic carnivore
Distribution:
• Paleocene of Denmark (3 collections), Greenland (1)
Total: 4 collections each including a single occurrence
