Type specimen: F:AM 49282, a partial skull. Its type locality is Thousand Creek Formation, which is in a Hemphillian terrestrial horizon in the Thousand Creek Formation of Nevada.
Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore-omnivore
Distribution:
• Hemphillian of United States (3: Idaho, Nebraska, Nevada collections)
• Miocene of United States (2: California, Oregon)
Total: 5 collections each including a single occurrence
