Type specimen: BMNH C.82131, a shell. Its type locality is Fauna 12, 36.3-36.7 km from Calabar, south-east Nigeria, which is in a Campanian offshore shale in the Nkporo Shale Formation of Nigeria.

Ecology: fast-moving nektonic carnivore

Distribution:

• Cretaceous of Mali (1 collection), Niger (3), Nigeria (1)

Total: 5 collections each including a single occurrence
