Type specimen: UMNH VP 20200, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is Nipple Butte (UMNH VP Loc. 1269), which is in a Campanian terrestrial mudstone in the Wahweap Formation of Utah.

Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore

Distribution: found only at Nipple Butte (UMNH VP Loc. 1269)
