Type specimen: Sanchez Roig Tipo No. 770, a test. Its type locality is Loma Calisto, Nuevitas, which is in an Eocene carbonate carbonate in Cuba.

Ecology: slow-moving shallow infaunal deposit feeder-detritivore

Distribution: found only at Loma Calisto, Nuevitas
