Sister taxa: Archicratyna subarcana, Archicratyna trichoarcana

Type specimen: Poinar D-A-Sci-17, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Dominican amber, El Valle locality (Poinar collection), which is in a Burdigalian/Langhian terrestrial amber in the Yanigua Formation of the Dominican Republic.
