Type specimen: UCMP 37371, a limb element (proximal end of left carpometacarpus). Its type locality is Flint Hill North, which is in a Hemingfordian terrestrial horizon in the Batesland Formation of South Dakota.

Ecology: volant frugivore

Distribution: found only at Flint Hill North
