Type specimen: CHm PV6056, a shell (largely complete carapace). Its type locality is Turnberry Place, which is in a Chattian marine horizon in the Chandler Bridge Formation of South Carolina.

Ecology: aquatic omnivore

Distribution:

• Oligocene of United States (4: South Carolina, Virginia collections)

Total: 4 collections each including a single occurrence
