Type specimen: MLP 95-I-10-2, a tooth (isolated lower molar (m?3)). Its type locality is IAA 2/95, which is in a Ypresian terrestrial horizon in the La Meseta Formation of Antarctica.

Distribution:
• Eocene of Antarctica (4 collections)
Total: 4 collections each including a single occurrence
