Type specimen: ANSP 15078, a tooth. Its type locality is Belmar, which is in a Bartonian marine horizon in the Shark River Formation of New Jersey.

• Eocene of Antarctica (1), Canada (1: British Columbia), Ukraine (2), United States (4: New Jersey, Oregon, Washington)
