Type specimen: PIN, no. 4516/208, a tooth (Left P3). Its type locality is Altynshokysu (bone bed IV), which is in an Oligocene terrestrial claystone in the Aral Formation of Kazakhstan.
Ecology: ground dwelling grazer-browser
Distribution: found only at Altynshokysu (bone bed IV)
