Type specimen: CMM-V- 4664, an osteoderm (One largely complete nuchal element ). Its type locality is Banks of Pamunkey River at county boundary, which is in an Oligocene marine horizon in the Old Church Formation of Virginia.

Ecology: aquatic omnivore

Distribution:

• Miocene of United States (2: Maryland collections)

• Oligocene of United States (1: Virginia)

Total: 3 collections each including a single occurrence
