Belongs to Parvidiabolus according to M. J. Johns 1997
Sister taxa: Parvidiabolus acutus, Parvidiabolus convexus, Parvidiabolus longisulcus
Type specimen: GSC 105268, a dermal scale. Its type locality is Aylard Creek East, Laird formation, ACE-1, which is in a Ladinian marine horizon in the Laird Formation of Canada.
Ecology: nektonic carnivore
Distribution:
• Triassic of Canada (8: British Columbia collections)
Total: 8 collections each including a single occurrence
