Belongs to Striatobythoceratina according to H. Kozur 1985
Sister taxa: Striatobythoceratina multistriata, Striatobythoceratina tricostata, Striatobythoceratina virgata
Type specimen: P 1484/Ko 1980 I-5. Its type locality is Nagyvisnyó Railway Cut 5, sample Bükk 30/1977, which is in a Wuchiapingian carbonate limestone in the Nagyvisnyo Formation of Hungary.
Ecology: epifaunal detritivore-grazer
Distribution: found only at Nagyvisnyó Railway Cut 5, sample Bükk 30/1977
