Type specimen: MACN CH 1297, a tooth (left m1 or m2). Its type locality is Cabeza Blanca, which is in a Deseadan terrestrial shale/claystone in the Sarmiento Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution:

• Miocene of Argentina (8 collections)

• Deseadan of Argentina (1)

Total: 9 collections each including a single occurrence
